Warranty Claims Specialist

Job Summary:
The Warranty Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently processing and resolving warranty claims. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify warranty claims, adhering to factory and distributor criteria.
- Prepare and submit CSI documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Track and manage parts inventory, utilizing tagging and shipping procedures.
- Follow up on unpaid claims, maintaining open communication with the factory and distributors.
- Reconcile flooring interest statements and selected vendor accounts.
- Provide backup support as a telephone operator, ensuring seamless customer service.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, as well as information from vendor catalogs.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
- Two years of experience in a general office position, with proficiency in computer, ten-key, and microfiche machines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
