Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $95,000 per year, based on national averages for Laboratory Operations Directors in similar locations.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Operations Director - Microbiology to provide leadership and direction to our microbiology laboratory operations. This individual will be responsible for managing day-to-day laboratory technical and non-technical resources and operations to meet organizational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage laboratory operations, including personnel management, resource utilization, and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist Regional and Division Directors in achieving department goals for service, quality, financial performance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and healthy work environment.
  • Concurrently monitor resource utilization, including payroll, supplies, and expenses, client volume and revenue variation reports, outpatient volume reports, mileage, and expense logs; participate in MOR.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a 4-Year/Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, NAACLS Accredited Certification (ASCP, AMT, etc.), and 3-5 years' supervisory level experience in a central or high volume bacteriology laboratory setting.
