Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at CRMG. As a key member of our property management group, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our 146-unit apartment community, Emmons Place Apartments.

About the Role

The successful candidate will assist with managing the property, including marketing, maintaining property integrity, screening prospective residents, collecting rents, income certifications, serving notices, developing reports, and preparing agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily management tasks, ensuring timely completion of duties
  • Coordinate marketing efforts to attract new residents
  • Screen applicants, conduct interviews, and verify references
  • Collect rent payments, manage income certifications, and serve notices as needed
  • Develop and maintain accurate reports, and prepare agreements
Requirements
  • 6 months of previous property management experience preferred
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience is a plus
  • Basic math skills with bookkeeping abilities
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills
  • Critical thinking, multitasking, and excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws and fair housing practices
Benefits
  • Competitive hourly rate: $18-$21 per hour (DOE)
  • FT schedule, Monday - Friday, 1:00pm - 9:30pm
  • 40 weekly contracted hours
  • A monthly $25 cell phone stipend
  • Eligible for benefits after 30 days of employment
  • 401(k) program with employer match (after 90 days)
Location and Compensation

This position is located in NW Portland. The estimated annual salary for this role is $37,440 - $43,520 based on a 40-hour workweek and $18-$21 hourly wage.
