Job Title

ATG Innovations is looking to hire a talented Oracle Cloud Operations Engineer to be part of the O&M team responsible for the implementation and management of the Oracle Cloud solution. The right candidate will be responsible for applying best practices to operate and maintain resilient secure Oracle Cloud environments.

This opportunity will be remote for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the operation and maintenance of the OCI cloud environment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and SRE principles.
  • Maintain ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments.
  • Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
  • Ensure security and compliance standards are met across all OCI deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assist with the implementation of cloud architecture best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of OCI experience.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Proven background working in the OCI cloud environment with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    • Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
    • Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
    • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Oracle OCI certifications
  • Oracle PeopleSoft and PeopleTools experience
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Oracle cloud concepts (Compartments, Identity Domains, Dynamic groups, etc)
  • Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
  • Cyber tools - Orca, Splunk, Trend Micro, STIG scanner
  • Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, BitBucket, Bamboo
  • Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
  • Cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures
