As the primary point of contact for our client in Milwaukee, WI, you will be responsible for welcoming and greeting visitors, screening and directing incoming communication, and performing administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls (40-75%)
  • Using the company's ERP system and other software to generate invoices (40-60%)
  • Greeting and receiving guests; maintaining office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (5-10%)
  • Performing other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing (>10%)
  • Sorting and distributing mail and inter-office envelopes (>5%)
  • Using mailing equipment to apply correct postage to outbound mail, including certified mailings (>5%)
  • Receiving and sorting freight bills to be forwarded for payment (>5%)

Marginal Job Functions:

Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Business Administration or similar is preferred. Years of relevant experience in a customer-facing or office role may be considered in place of post-secondary education.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous experience working with an ERP System or similar is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with other employees, visitors, vendors, etc.
  • Proficient analytical and mathematical skills to perform calculations and catch errors.
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict de-escalation skills.
  • Strong task prioritization, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and multi-task.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to independently complete tasks exactly as directed, including at specified times of the day.
  • Drug screen and background check to be completed as well.
