Critical Care Unit Travel Nurse Position in California

Job Overview:
Epic Travel Staffing is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Critical Care Unit travel nurse to join our team in California. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities:
As a critical care unit travel nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to critically ill patients in various ICU settings, including burn units, abdominal transplant acute care, neuro ICUs, post-op units, surgical ICUs (SICUs), trauma ICUs, or cardiovascular ICUs (CVICUs). You will work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, conduct assessments, administer medications, and provide education to patients and their families.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must possess a valid CA RN license, at least two years of experience as an ICU travel nurse, and hold certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and EPIC experience. A strong understanding of ventilator management and tracheostomy tube care is also essential.
