We are seeking a skilled Senior Maintenance Engineer to join our team at JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including equipment inspections, repairs, and replacements, to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex issues with MEP systems, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance their skills and confidence.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues, management, and guests to address concerns, provide updates, and maintain a positive working relationship.

In addition to your technical expertise, we value your ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical background preferred.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification.
  • Skillset: Solid knowledge of hand and power tools, ability to repair or replace PVC copper pipe, and proficiency in engineering computer programs.
