About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Hotel Maintenance Specialist to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton, Amelia Island. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hotel facilities and equipment are well-maintained and functioning properly.

Job Description

As a Hotel Maintenance Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities. This may include performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, responding to guest repair requests, and carrying out minor repairs and replacements.

You will work closely with other members of the maintenance team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to management.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs on hotel equipment and facilities
  • Respond to guest repair requests and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities
  • Report any issues or concerns to management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid driver's license and universal chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) certification
  • At least 2 years of experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation, and painting
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting tasks with assistance
