About the Linbeck Group Construction Superintendent I Role

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead our team as a Superintendent I. This individual will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and adhering to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage construction sites to meet safety and quality requirements
  • Direct activities of Company and subcontractor personnel
  • Lead teams on engagements ranging from $5m to $50m
  • Implement and manage project safety programs
  • Collaborate with Lean Construction tools and management style
  • Foster a culture of mutual respect and inclusivity in the workplace

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Engineering, Architecture, or Business, preferred
  • 8-years of commercial construction experience, required
  • 4-years of field supervision experience as a lead superintendent for a General Contractor, required
  • Proficient with scheduling software, required

Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be physically fit enough to function safely on a project site and office setting. This includes:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Exerting forces up to 100 pounds occasionally, and/or 50 pounds frequently, and/or 20 pounds constantly
  • Climbing ladders, scaffolding, and steep slopes with agility
  • Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling
  • Lifting objects with substantial force

Additional Requirements

  • Current driver's license, required
  • Work on-site at a main office or project location, required
  • May be called after hours and on weekends to address delays, emergencies, and other issues

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
