Youth Counselor II/III

To provide comprehensive counseling, case management, and crisis intervention services to consumers based on their needs and functional assessments.

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify and diagnose mental health/substance abuse disorders and functional capacity.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with measurable goals and objectives.
• Provide case management services to eligible consumers, including referral, monitoring, and supportive counseling.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of clinical practice and services rendered, including annual re-assessments and treatment plan reviews.
• Meet targeted billing units per month and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in meetings, such as supervision, clinical staffings, and committees, to enhance team decision-making.
• Provide consultation and educational services to Mount Rogers CSB and other agencies.

• Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Counselor II: Eligibility for supervised residency towards LPC, LCSW, or LMFT within 3 months of contingent job offer.
• Counselor III: Licensure as a LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.
