Job Description

This is a full-time, 36 hours per week, night shift position that requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As an Advanced Respiratory Care Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advanced-level respiratory care to patients, including diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, management, and control of cardiopulmonary system deficiencies or abnormalities.
  • Acting as a resource to CRT staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives and identifying areas for process improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate degree from a NBRC-approved Respiratory Therapist program.
  • Registration by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT).
  • A current license as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
  • Specific certifications as required, such as PALS, ACLS, or NRP.
Location and Schedule

This position is located at Intermountain Health Layton Hospital in Layton, Utah, and requires a 36-hour workweek with night shifts.
