About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civica Manufacturing Inspector Specialist to join our team in a sterile fill finish facility. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety.
Job Summary:
The Civica Manufacturing Inspector Specialist will be responsible for visually inspecting finished product vials and syringes for various defects, performing daily process activities, and documenting work accurately and timely in accordance with procedures, batch records, and cGMPs.
Responsibilities:
- Visually inspect finished product vials and syringes for various defects, including contamination, damage, and packaging issues.
- Perform daily process activities, such as setting up and adjusting operating equipment, and calibrating inspection machines.
- Document work accurately and timely in accordance with procedures, batch records, and cGMPs.
- Calculate percent defects on inspection results and reconcile components.
- Assist other process functions as required and proactively identify and work collaboratively to resolve problems.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- 2+ years of experience performing inspections in a GMP environment.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a small, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Effective organization skills and attention to detail.
- Must be able to understand, speak, and write English in order to comply with necessary SOPs, SPECs, Job-specific training materials, GMPs, and other manuals.
- Basic math skills to perform required calculations (multiplication/division).
- Visual ability to detect defects.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and within established guidelines, procedures, and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a sterile fill finish facility.
- Visual inspection experience of vials and syringes.
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Civica offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
