The Assistant role plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless operations across billing, project management, and client service functions.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Billing & Project Management: Efficiently manage monthly billing for around 30 clients based on time or set fees.
  • Handle tax return or audit billing as assigned by staff.
  • Oversee the billing and project management software, including new client entry.

**Financial Operations:**
- Process bill payments for clients through checks or online platforms.
- Conduct quarterly billing for select clients.
- Verify timekeeping records and ensure proper adjustments, including paid time off, and other changes.
- Maintain and update employee payroll information in the payroll system.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues with staff.

**Client Support:**
- Assist clients in downloading their documentation from our portal via phone calls.

**Documentation & Filing:**
- Scan client documents into our tax software for tax preparation.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both in-person and over the telephone.
- Strong organizational skills.

We estimate this role will have an annual salary of $42,000 - $60,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
