Quality Assurance Specialist

XL Specialized Trailers seeks a Quality Engineer to join our QA & Continuous Improvement team.
This role will serve as a subject matter expert to lead the implementation and maturation of strategic XL Quality processes.
The successful candidate will assist in the development of Quality process strategy and identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and leverage best practices in Quality Assurance and Manufacturing-related processes.
- Assist in the development of Quality process strategy and identify opportunities for improvement across the organization.
- Evaluate and interpret industry requirements and internal Quality Management Systems (QMS) requirements.
- Help site Quality teams, Quality Inspectors, and/or senior Quality leadership as a subject matter expert to investigate and correct quality issues.
- Lead and facilitate projects generated from our High-Performance Team Board process.
- Implement ISO-9001 quality management systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident 'Green Card' holder.
- 25-50% travel.
- Expertise in ISO-9000 and internal auditing preferred.
