Community Health Network is a leading healthcare provider in Indianapolis, IN, and we're seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Operating Room Management team at Community Surgery Center Plus. As an LPN, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting our team of healthcare professionals.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where you'll have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As an LPN, you'll be responsible for cleaning endoscopy cases, cleaning endoscopes, working in pre-op, and making patient pre-op calls. You'll also perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborate with RN on the plan of care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) and medication administration
  • Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as needed
  • Transcribe orders and document patient information
  • Reinforce patient and family education
  • Collaborate with other team members to perform other unit services as directed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have:

  • A graduate degree from a recognized accredited school of practical nursing or a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience
  • A current LPN license in the state of Indiana
  • Proficiency in IV placement and phlebotomy
