At Adventist Health, we are seeking a Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team in Atascadero, California.
About the Job
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Imaging Specialist to work with us. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Nuclear Medicine examinations on patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatric patients, as ordered by physicians after administering radioactive materials.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to instruct patients on proper positioning and procedures, and adjust imaging equipment to ensure high-quality images. A strong understanding of radiology information systems and computer literacy are also essential.
Requirements
- A valid DHS certification as a Technologist is required.
- Nuclear Medicine license, including venipuncture, is mandatory.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association is also required.
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts, rotating between day and night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
