Senior Director of Surgical Services

The Senior Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the overall management, coordination, planning, and evaluation of PeriOp, Sterile Processing, and PACU functions and activities.
This involves collaboration with Executive leadership and subordinate staff to plan, implement, and evaluate processes related to performance improvement, staffing effectiveness, fiscal management, staff competence, and customer service outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of the disciplines represented in the department and knowledge of all regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards of professional practice in areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities include resolving administrative and operational issues outside of the designed scope of the manager(s)/supervisor(s), modeling customer service excellence, and participating in rotational on-call duties.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 Years of Experience
- California RN License
- Broad knowledge of the disciplines represented in the department and knowledge of all regulatory, legal, and accreditation standards of professional practice in areas of responsibility
- Five years in administrative or supervisory experience within PeriOp Services
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required but will also consider a Master's in Business or Healthcare Administration
- Demonstrates excellent leadership, communication, and emotional intelligence skills
- Balances competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously, comfortable operating within tight timelines
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 Years of Experience
- The expected hiring range for this position is $94.88 to $130.46
