Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Counselor-in-Training at Kidcam LLC. This is an excellent opportunity for a 14-year-old student to gain valuable work experience, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact on the lives of children.

Job Description

As a Counselor-in-Training, you will be responsible for assisting our experienced counselors with various summer camp activities, including leading groups, conducting water games, and supervising field trips. You will also have the opportunity to develop your communication and teamwork skills by working closely with other staff members and campers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with daily camp activities, including arts and crafts, sports, and outdoor games.
  • Help supervise campers during meals, rest periods, and transitions between activities.
  • Participate in planning and leading group activities, such as team-building exercises and games.
  • Provide support to counselors with camper supervision, discipline, and first aid needs.
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must be:

  • Able to demonstrate strong swimming skills.
  • Experienced in working with children or groups of children.
  • Willing to commit to the entire summer session (late May to early August).
  • Physically and mentally able to meet the demands of a fast-paced summer camp environment.
