Patient Advocate Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Patient Advocate Coordinator to join our team at Atria Physician Practice New York PC. In this role, you will work closely with clinical staff to coordinate administrative tasks, ensuring seamless communication and exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate scheduling, referrals, and telemedicine appointments for clinical staff and membership.
- Assist in retrieving medical records, appointments, and follow-up notes from external practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the EMR system, adhering to strict confidentiality standards.
- Provide administrative support to clinicians, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology and hospital procedures.
- Develop expertise in Atria's technology, processes, and best practices to enhance clinical staff productivity and patient satisfaction.
- Triage patient inquiries efficiently, demonstrating professionalism, kindness, and empathy.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
- At least 5 years of experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Health Information Management/EMR processes is advantageous.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to confidentiality, accuracy, and exceptional patient care.
- Effective business communication and organizational skills are essential.
What We Offer:
- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $75,000 annually, depending on experience.
