Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative I. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing world-class service to our customers, answering their inquiries, and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process new business, renewals, and endorsements, as well as billing transactions, according to established department policies and procedures.
- Rate endorsements and transactions for multiple lines of business.
- Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely processing and resolution of customer issues.
- Maintain detailed policy documentation and update customer information as necessary.
- Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and coordinate with various functions within the company.
- Perform pre-underwriting tasks for policy transactions based on company processing procedures and underwriting guidelines.
- Order reports for new business, renewal, and endorsements as required.
- Perform outbound customer retention calls.
- Maintain acceptable productivity and quality levels established by management.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree preferred; basic insurance courses (IIA, AU, etc.)
- Demonstrate proficiency in various computer applications
- Good math background
- Less than 2 years of agency or insurance company experience
- Spanish language proficiency preferred
