">Job Summary
">We are seeking a Medical Office LPN to join our team at Nuvance Health's Women's Wellness department in Norwalk, CT. As a Medical Office LPN, you will play a critical role in supporting our clinical teams and ensuring smooth daily operations. ">Key Responsibilities
">- Pre-Visit Planning: Assist with pre-visit planning, focusing on care gaps and leading team huddles with clinical staff to ensure seamless communication and efficient patient flow.">
- Patient Support: Greet and escort patients from the waiting room to the clinical area, perform intake activities, and document vital signs, medical history, and allergies accurately.">
- Documentation: Complete office visit documentation, including proposing orders for review, updating medication lists, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record.">
- Direct Patient Care: Provide direct patient care, including vaccination administration, medication preparation, and basic wound care under the direction of the Provider or Registered Nurse.">
- Administrative Tasks: Manage tasks and messages, schedule appointments and referrals, and maintain accurate records and logs.">
Requirements
">- Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure.">
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.">
- Education: High School graduate or equivalent and completion of an accredited LPN program.">
- Skills: Basic computer skills, data entry, and proficiency in multiple languages preferred.">
Benefits and Compensation
">We offer a competitive salary range of $22.25 - $41.32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
">Working Conditions
">This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:45 AM and 5:30 PM. The work environment is generally pleasant, with some manual skills required and minimal potential for occupational risk.
