Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Critical Care Specialist to join our team in Redlands, CA. As a Critical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for assessing each call situation, utilizing advanced medical equipment, and communicating effectively with patients and their families.


Responsibilities
  • Scene Management: Act as the team leader and take responsibility for scene management as needed.
  • Advanced Life Support: Utilize your skills on medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids.
  • Patient Communication: Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel.
  • Community Programs: Participate in community programs to maintain AMR's image and establish strong community relations.

Requirements
  • Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (GED), Ca Drivers' License, Ambulance Driver's License from DMV, Medical Examiner's Card from DMV, State of California Paramedic License, CPR Card (American Heart Association ONLY), ACLS Card (American Heart Association ONLY), Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy.
  • Experience: Some past work experience, preferably in healthcare desired.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $27.14 to $51.08 per hour, depending on experience. This rate applies to 12-hr shifts and an average of 20-49 hours per week. This position is bonus eligible.
