{"Job Title": "Tax Compliance Specialist", "Job Summary": "We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team at MAN Energy Solutions USA, Inc.

As a Tax Compliance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state and local tax laws and regulations. You will work closely with our accounting team to compile, file, and analyze all state and local sales tax, excise tax, and business and occupational tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:

* Reconcile all State and Local Tax Accounts in SAP monthly
* Compile all Returns (monthly, quarterly, annually)
* Obtain approvals, e-file and pay returns
* Maintain tax calendar to ensure prompt payments of tax

* Research SALT laws and regulations as it pertains to our business
* Educate others of those laws and ensure procedures are in place for compliance
* Audit the invoicing and accruals to ensure compliance and to detect deficient controls

* Furnish property tax reports needed for yearly renditions
* Review all property tax assessments for payment

* Coordinates with State and Local auditors
* Provides requested information and documentation
* Communicates results with upper management

* Maintains documentation for yearly return and exemption
* Works with outsource for filing of yearly return
* Research of foreign tax laws

* Create sales by country report & summarized order intake, sales, backlog report

* Maintains account controls by following policies and procedures; complying with federal, state and local financial legal requirements
* Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications
* Pulling information for Auditors

Required Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university or acceptable to meet the requirements of education or experience.

Required Experience: Two (2) years of related tax experience required.

* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Good organizational skills

Physical Requirements: The position takes place in a routine office environment with frequent sitting and occasional standing.
