Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and direct pharmacy staff, including staff pharmacists and pharmacy technicians
• Manage and oversee all aspects of the pharmacy, including patient safety, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel management, inventory management, financial profitability, and loss prevention
• Develop and implement patient care programs to keep customers and patients healthy
• Lead with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Motivate and inspire pharmacy support staff to maximize their strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps
• Identify business opportunities and implement meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance

Requirements:

• Active pharmacy license in the state of employment
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization
• Pharmacist in charge listed on the pharmacy state license
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
