Production Control Specialist

Job Summary: As a Production Control Specialist at Cubic, you will serve as a liaison between planning, production, and support departments to monitor, investigate, and problem-solve work stoppage issues. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all products move through the production process in accordance with expected lead times. If any issues arise, you will perform troubleshooting and correction or escalation as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarity with SAP production/MRP environments for analyzing aging work orders, investigating and correcting material issues on work orders, and reading and understanding manufacturing bills of materials, work instructions, and work order routings.
  • Assist production and support departments as required to advance products through the manufacturing processes.
  • Support rework/repair planning to support rejection tags.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, if needed.
  • Two-year college degree or equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Two+ years of experience in electronic/mechanical manufacturing.
  • Experience with SAP is required.
  • Strong skills with Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
  • A thorough knowledge of manufacturing methods and associated documentation is required.
  • Must possess good math skills.
  • Ability to use a personal computer.
  • Ability to prioritize work, complete multiple tasks, and work under deadlines.
  • Good interpersonal skills are essential to perform duties.
  • Must be able to work overtime.
