Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in delivering coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The ideal candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff, coordinate care with other disciplines, and utilize critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.

Responsibilities
  • Collections relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, analyzes assessment data, and develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes.
  • Collaborates with the team to provide patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment, provides learning opportunities, and directly provides health information to patients, families, and treatment teams.
  • Participates in discharge planning to provide continuity of care, delegates appropriately, coordinates duties of healthcare team members, and performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), acute care facility experience, and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice. Additionally, they must hold Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure reflects the market rate for a Clinical Nurse Specialist in a similar location.
