About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Plasma Center Nurse to join our team at BioLife Plasma Services. As a Medical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our donors, while also contributing to the collection of high-quality plasma that will become life-changing medicines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, including proper management of informed consent, medical history interview, and physical examination.
  • Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results to ensure the quality and safety of the plasma collected.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Plasma Center Manager and Center Physician to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees, as applicable.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, including a graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.
  • Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: LPN or LVN.
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification.
  • Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy.
  • Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
  • Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.
