Production Technician

**About the Role:**
As a Production Technician at Ball Corporation, you will be a key member of our production crew, reporting to a supervisor in an assigned production area. Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Follow all 5S standards and job safety practices and policies, including food safety, personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
- Operate, adjust, and repair high-speed production equipment to meet plant production goals.
- Assist with performing preventative maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Inspect aluminum for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
- Build positive relationships across designated teams by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
**Requirements:**
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- 1-year minimum experience in a mechanical job-related field with demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
- 2 years work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
**Work Environment:**
May be subject to hot/cold working conditions, loud/noisy environments, standing and walking for prolonged periods, and climbing stairs and equipment as necessary.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
Hiring Salary Range: $30.40/Hour. Eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan. Comprehensive benefits structure available.
