About the Role:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN to join our surgical med/surg unit. This is a part-time day shift position, offering the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and develop your clinical skills.
About the Unit:The surgical med/surg unit at Mercy Hospital Ardmore is a fast-paced and dynamic environment where you will have the chance to work with patients who require post-operative care. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and supporting each other in our roles.
Key Responsibilities:This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver care to patients on the surgical med/surg unit. Your key responsibilities will include assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing interventions to promote optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to be a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and hold a current LPN license within the state of hire. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer:We offer a competitive salary of $25.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, we also offer employer-matched retirement funds, paid time off, and shift differentials.

The surgical med/surg unit is a 32-bed unit that houses a diverse range of patients, including those requiring post-operative care following surgeries such as colon resections, hip replacements, urological procedures, and appendectomies. We also have med/surg overflow, so you may encounter patients with conditions such as pneumonia, COPD, and chest pain.
Developing Your Skills:This role offers the opportunity to develop a wide range of clinical skills, including wound care, vascular access, and respiratory care. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills and knowledge, and receive regular feedback and support to help you achieve your career goals.
