Donation Coordinator

At Alabama Goodwill Industries Inc, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Donation Processor. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and sorting donations, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe processing area.

• Greet and assist donors/customers
• Receive incoming donations
• Issue donation receipts
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and make proper determination as to the quality of donations
• Keep processing area clean and safe
• Maintain well-groomed appearance and appropriate dress code including name badge

• Ability to provide excellent customer service
• Ability to adhere to the organization's Core Principles
• Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling
• Ability to listen and follow directions
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Ability to stoop, bend, kneel, push and pull

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience
