Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, equipped with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms.

About the Role

This role involves preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and establishing and maintaining a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training. Additionally, you will maintain strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
  • Identify and assess patient condition.
  • Establish and maintain a sterile environment.
  • Serve as preceptor for new hires and radiology students.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, eligible and/or current RCIS certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Previous procedural area experience is preferred, but not required. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation, and current BLS certification is necessary to maintain throughout employment. ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
