We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Faculty Clinician to join our team at Northeast College of Health Sciences. As a key member of our academic affairs department, you will play a vital role in providing quality patient care and education to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and work with clinical students to provide quality patient care and complete required documentation.
- Develop and utilize relevant marketing strategies to grow faculty practice expectations and support student learning.
- Make patient health care decisions, including evaluation, management, and recordkeeping.
- Provide consultation and guidance to other faculty members.
- Mentor and foster a critical thinking environment for student education.
- Oversee student conduct, proficiency, and professionalism, ensuring compliance with health center standards.
- Issue quantitative and qualitative credits and provide regular feedback to students.
- Assist with clinical education activities, including evaluations, orientation, remediations, and mentor meetings.
- Engage students in clinical activities while ensuring continuity of patient care.
- Participate in health center meetings and mandatory professional development activities.
- Maintain clean and orderly patient treatment areas and report equipment needing repair.
- Participate on College committees and task forces as assigned.
- Maintain active involvement with professional, national, and state organizations relevant to clinical, educational, and administrative responsibilities.
- Develop a professional development plan in conjunction with the Dean of Clinical Education/Assistant Dean of Clinical Education.
- Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
- Appropriate professional licensure to practice in New York State.
- Post-graduate degrees, diplomates, and certificates are preferred.
- Ongoing professional development is expected.
- A competitive salary range of $65,000 to $70,000 annually.
