Key Responsibilities:

  • Consult with management to analyze computer system needs and determine project scope and priorities.
  • Lead and manage the Information Systems organization, including identifying, hiring, and developing required skillsets.
  • Identify technology needs and recommend plans for applications, systems development, and operations.
  • Manage the development, implementation, installation, and operation of information and functional systems.
  • Develop and implement management information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance.
  • Negotiate and contract with consultants, technical personnel, and vendors for services and products.
  • Provide support to end users in the selection, procurement, usage, and maintenance of software programs and hardware.
  • Explore new technologies for future planning and potential implementation.
  • Review reports of computer and peripheral equipment production, malfunction, and maintenance to determine costs and impact.
  • Develop, maintain, and test disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure systems applications, policies, and procedures support the Ford Finance Manual and Information Technology Procedures Manual.
  • Monitor performance against department objectives and the Ford System Control Review Program.
  • Own the relationship with all external support entities and manage cross-functional support teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in information technology or a related field.
  • 7 years of related IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years management experience.
  • Experience managing an ERP system, including database, application, facilities, and related systems. SAP RISE and ERP implementation experience preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position manages assigned employees of the department and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of employees within the department.
