We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Shively Diversified Management Services. This is a remote opportunity with occasional travel to Spring Hill, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to enhance and refine the automotive manufacturing process. You will be responsible for analyzing powertrain part prints, identifying features and dimensions produced during machining, and creating an Excel list in a provided template.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze powertrain part prints to identify features and dimensions produced during machining
  • Create an Excel list of features and their inspection methods or lack thereof for review by the plant
  • Utilize CAD software for drawing review and analysis
  • Prioritize tasks to complete assignments and communicate with team members and management
  • Analyze prints, processes, and work orders to identify discrepancies that could create production or quality issues
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar experience
  • Familiarity with CNC and CAM software
  • Thorough understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and design principles
  • Experience using CAD software and knowledge of AutoCAD is ideal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with intermediate Excel knowledge
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
