Host/Hostess Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and efficient host/hostess to join our team at IHOP. As a host/hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and ensuring a smooth dining experience
  • Managing reservations and waitlists
  • Providing information about our menu and services
  • Collaborating with servers and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be friendly and great with guests
  • Must be able to work on your feet for hours at a time
  • Strong guest/customer service skills
  • Friendly and people skills required
  • Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
