We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Orthopedic Technician to join our team at Orthopaedic Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with orthopedic procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist providers with orthopedic procedures, including casting, reductions, and suturing.
- Prepare patients for treatment by explaining procedures and ensuring they are properly positioned.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies.
- Document patient information and treatment plans accurately and efficiently.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of orthopedic technician training program required.
- 1-4 years of related experience preferred.
- Orthopedic technician certification preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR certification required.
The successful candidate will be required to work variable shift schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The ability to multitask efficiently and effectively is essential in this role.
