Quality Assurance Manager

The Quality Manager plays a pivotal role in driving quality excellence at Hytorc. This key member of the site leadership team is responsible for developing and directing the quality team, policies, programs, and initiatives that foster a culture of quality.
The Quality Manager will establish and manage metrics to ensure Hytorc products meet customer specifications and adhere to the company's quality standards. This includes developing strategic plans and improvement initiatives targeting reliability, supplier quality, and cost of poor quality.
This individual will contribute to the achievement of company objectives by participating in the strategic planning process, including the development of quality targets for continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain Hytorc's ISO certification and Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure total product integrity by providing strategic leadership in establishing a common quality vision, culture, structure, management system, and processes.
- Develop, implement, and manage key quality metrics, systems, and procedures associated with the QMS.
- Define quality objectives and functional responsibilities.
- Manage all supplier quality systems, including audits, corrective actions, MRB, and non-conformance investigations.
- Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure the highest level of quality throughout the value stream.
- Manage a team of compliance, inspection, Quality engineering, and additional resources as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- ISO/IEC 17025 experience, with calibration and metrology for force/torque and pressure being a plus.
- ISO 9001 certification experience with management of QMS preferred.
- Three years of experience managing and supervising subordinates.
- Ability to understand and interpret statistical data.
- Excellent communication skills with customer and supplier-facing experience.
- Excellent problem-solving skills essential.
