Job Summary

Diamond Healthcare Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at our Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla, NY. As a key member of our multidisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical evaluations and delivering treatment services in individual and group formats.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations to assess patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based treatment services in individual and group formats, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and other modalities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization services as needed
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Licensed in New York as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • 2+ years of experience in behavioral health, preferably in an inpatient setting
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention principles and practices, case management, and group experience
  • Strong patient assessment and therapy skills, with ability to work with diverse patient populations
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking a plus
