TotalMed is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Neonatal Nurse Specialist for a travel assignment in San Diego, California.

This opportunity will provide the ideal candidate with a chance to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, utilizing their expertise to deliver exceptional patient care. As a Registered Nurse-Neonatal, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill newborns and their families.

About the Role:

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced nurse who can join our team of dedicated professionals. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in neonatal nursing, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individualized patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care coordination

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

- Current RN licensure in California
- Experience working in a neonatal ICU or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of neonatal nursing principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
