About the JobThe Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the Pediatric ICU unit/department during designated shifts. This leadership position collaborates with other management team members to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures.
This dynamic role serves as a resource person for staff, modeling commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes contributing to overall departmental performance.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient-centered care.
- Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services provided in the unit, collaborating with other management team members.
- Collaborates with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork supporting improved outcomes and service.
- Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
- Operationalizes current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives, to improve engagement.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
- 1+ years applicable experience required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required.

The estimated salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, based on location and experience.
