Central Florida Health Care is seeking a skilled Obstetrician Gynecologist Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services including preventive and health maintenance services, acute and chronic care, clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients in the out-patient setting.

About the Job:

As an Obstetrician Gynecologist Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality patient care, adhering to disease management protocols, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Completing all required paperwork on time, including payroll sheets, encounter tickets, hospital encounter sheets, evaluations, progress notes, etc.
  • Facilitating referrals, including social services for patients requiring services not offered at Central Florida Health Care, in coordination with referral clerks and nurses according to company policy.
  • Participating in staff outreach and off-site healthcare programs, representing the company in the community, and precepting medical students as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Maintaining neat patient records with timely written SOAP notes and current Chronic Problem and Medication lists.
  • Rotating to other Central Florida Health Care centers as needed to provide coverage, providing off-hours and Saturday clinic coverage as assigned by the Chief Medical Officer, and reporting pertinent information or situations that impact on patient care or company liability.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited APRN training program.
  • Current licensure as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in the state of Florida.
  • ANCC and/or AANP certification as an ARNP.
  • Malpractice insurance.
  • BLS certification.
  • Computer literacy.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires:

  • 80% or more time spent standing/walking.
  • Independently mobile.
  • Ability to lift weight equivalents to that would be required when occasionally assisting and positioning patients, repositioning equipment, and lifting supplies.

Work Environment:

This position requires the ability to adapt and function in varying environments of workload, patient acuity, worksites, and work shifts.
