Job Summary:

As a Radiation Therapist with our team, you will be responsible for operating advanced radiation therapy equipment, administering patient treatments according to physician prescriptions, and maintaining detailed treatment records. This role requires adherence to radiation safety protocols, maintaining sterile techniques, and ensuring effective communication with the healthcare team.


Key Responsibilities:
• Operate CT/SIM, linear accelerators, and high-dose rate equipment with precision and accuracy.
• Perform daily equipment checks and warm-ups to ensure optimal performance.
• Administer prescribed treatments, including patient setups, as directed by physicians, with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and manage patient schedules with attention to detail.
• Create and utilize patient setup and immobilization devices to ensure accurate treatment delivery.
• Ensure patient safety and infection control through strict adherence to protocols, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and provide clear instructions to patients, promoting a positive patient experience.
• Demonstrate professionalism and deliver excellent patient care, upholding the highest standards of quality and compassion.

Requirements:
• California Certified Radiologic Technologist - Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certificate or equivalent certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, demonstrating a commitment to patient care and safety.
• Strong patient care skills, with a focus on empathy, communication, and compassion.

Preferred Qualifications:
• California Fluoroscopy license (if applicable), demonstrating expertise in radiation therapy equipment operation.
• Experience with record and verify systems, multi-leaf collimators, and radiation therapy equipment, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy.
