Diesel Engine Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Engine Technician to join our team at Randstad. As a Diesel Engine Technician, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel pumps, fleet, and mechanical equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Servicing, repairing, and maintaining diesel pumps, fleet, and mechanical equipment.
- Performing quality checks on repaired equipment items.
- Maintaining service order processes and providing descriptions of repairs and maintenance on mechanical equipment.
- Ensuring the appropriate paperwork is filed.
- Performing repairs and maintenance on equipment at job sites when needed.
- Procuring parts and supplies as required.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card required.
- Appropriate equipment repair certification desired.
- Experience in servicing and repairing diesel engines desired.
- Experience with electric motors a plus.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet job requirements.
Requirements
- Working in a smoke-free environment.
- Wearing steel toe shoes.
- Working in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
- Manual lifting up to 50lbs.
- Standing for 8 hours at one time.
Skills
- Diesel engine repair (3 years of experience is preferred).
- Field service experience (3 years of experience is preferred).
- Hydraulic repair experience (3 years of experience is preferred).
- Electrical.
- Blueprints.
- Active Listening.
- Customer Service.
- Basic Software Skills.
- Mechanical Maintenance (3 years of experience is preferred).
- Pump troubleshoot and repair (3 years of experience is preferred).
