Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist at Norman Regional Health System

Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, nestled at the Southern border.
We have an innovative cardiovascular program and are seeking a skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist - RCIS to join our team. As a Registered Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our program.
The successful candidate will possess expertise in maintaining a sterile environment, assessing patient conditions, and collaborating with cardiologists. A Radiologic Technologist certification and relevant experience are essential requirements for this position. Ongoing training in Basic and Advanced Life Support is also necessary.
Responsibilities:- Prepare equipment before and during procedures.
- Identify and assess patient condition. Prepare, position, and provide patient care.
- Maintain a sterile environment.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, and participate in staff orientation.
- Use downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks.
- Completion of 24-month formal Radiologic Technology program or military equivalent, eligible for American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) registration.
- Previous procedural area experience preferred.
- Current certification as a Registered Radiographer (RRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training required; ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire.
