Job Summary

Chenega MIOS SBU is seeking a highly skilled Media Analyst to join our team. As a Media Analyst, you will provide support in the fields of media analysis, communications, international affairs, market research, or related areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain proficiency in research and analytical software tools.
  • Conduct research, gather data, assess information, interpret results, and write reports.
  • Observe the highest standards of ethical conduct, customer service, and respect for workplace diversity.
  • Provide real-time analytical reporting on issue-specific events and media coverage.
  • Research, track, analyze, and make recommendations to leadership and portfolio managers on evolving trends in social media tools, applications, and techniques.
  • Produce regularly scheduled reports summarizing messaging across Joint Staff Social Media platforms and individual platforms to determine message resonance and platform effectiveness.
  • Assist the Social Media Lead with curating and posting social media content to assigned official Joint Staff platforms.
  • Assist in content moderation and flag/report comments on official Joint Staff platforms that violate stated rules of engagement.
  • Support senior officials and spokespersons as articulated by the Secretary, Chairman, and other senior officials.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with emphasis in media analysis, communications, international affairs, market research, or related areas.
  • 4+ years of verifiable experience in media analysis, communications, international affairs, market research, or related areas.
  • Secret clearance required.
