Job Overview

Mahler Private Staffing is seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to join our team of domestic staffing professionals. This is a full-time, year-round position, generally five days/week with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Performing daily and deep cleaning tasks, including laundry duties and handwashing and pressing
  • Maintaining the family's bedrooms and ensuring a high level of cleanliness and organization
  • Packing and unpacking the family for travel
  • Conducting daily walkthroughs to ensure the home is tidy and well-maintained
  • Managing and working alongside other Housekeepers to achieve a seamless and efficient household operation
  • Assisting the team with gracious entertaining and ensuring the home is prepared for guests
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience working as an Executive Housekeeper in a fine home
  • Excellent, verifiable references
  • Exceptional hands-on cleaning and laundry skills
  • Strong management skills, with the ability to bring out the best in other staff members
  • A self-starting attitude and a passion for their work
  • A positive and pleasant personality
