Consumer Insights Manager

The Consumer Insights Manager will be responsible for driving functional excellence at Basic Resources, Inc. This role requires a passion for the consumer through valuable insights, strategic thinking, and creative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in the apparel industry, with a focus on consumer behavior, demographic, and retail trends.
  • Analyze external and internal data to identify patterns and craft expert analysis.
  • Take the initiative to solve problems and uncover whitespace opportunities.
  • Communicate complex data insights to various stakeholders through polished verbal and written skills.
  • Translate data patterns into forward-looking, visually engaging content.
  • Work with syndicated data platforms like Circana/IRI, Nielsen, and adapt to new platforms like Luminate.
  • Deliver regular market updates and industry insights through monthly and ad-hoc reporting.
  • Own data attribution, organization, and maintenance within reporting platforms.
  • Cultivate strong internal and external relationships with cross-functional teams and third-party representatives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer insights/analysis.
  • Strong quantitative background.
  • Ability to take ownership of initiatives and work proactively under tight timelines.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Annual salary starting at $135,000. The disclosed salary range is commensurate with experience and does not reflect the total compensation package. Our associates have access to other valuable benefits, which our Human Resources team is happy to discuss during the interview process.
