Job Summary

This role involves performing field testing of corrosion control systems on underground and submerged metallic structures.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent field testing to determine the condition of structures under evaluation.
  • Analyze data and recommend troubleshooting tests as needed.
  • Compile and submit field data for senior staff review.
  • Estimate project durations for engineering and construction projects.
  • Organize multiple small projects simultaneously.
  • Develop test procedures for complex troubleshooting.
  • Evaluate field data and prepare draft reports.
Requirements:
  • 0-3 years of experience in corrosion control, particularly in cathodic protection work.
  • Government contracts require U.S. citizenship.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current certification with AMPP Cathodic Protection Tester (CP1).
  • In lieu of NACE Certification, an Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology is required.
  • Ability to work independently and interact with team members, clients, and management staff.
  • Ability/willingness to travel as required for the job.
  • Clean driving record and ability to operate a company vehicle.
  • This position may require standing or walking on uneven ground, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, lifting up to 60 pounds, and being physically demanding in an all-weather environment.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
