About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team in Nashville, TN. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Job Summary

The Medical Support Specialist will work under the supervision of licensed nursing staff to perform various clinical and non-clinical tasks related to patient care. This includes aiding with patient movement and placement, assisting with personal care and activities of daily living, and maintaining patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities
  • Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
  • Aid with movement and placement of patients.
  • Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
  • Report findings or changes in physical, mental, and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
  • Document necessary records.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintain medical equipment.
Requirements
  • Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Education:
  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, based on location and experience.
