Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Crisis Clinician to join our team at Family Service and Guidance Center of To. As a key member of our crisis response team, you will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, utilizing your expertise in mental health and crisis intervention to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to crisis calls and provide support to individuals in need, utilizing your expertise in crisis intervention and mental health.
  • Collaborate with other team members to deliver comprehensive services to clients, including crisis assessment, intervention, and stabilization.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families, promoting healthy coping mechanisms and resilience.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a recognized mental health discipline (Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology).
  • Valid license to practice as a clinician in the state of Kansas.
  • Experience working with special needs children and youth, particularly in community-based settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and changing priorities.

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of settings, including office and community-based environments. You must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and supplies as needed, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.

Work Environment:

This is a part-time position, requiring a flexible schedule and the ability to work on-call as needed. You will be working in a team-based environment, with regular supervision and support from experienced clinicians.
